The Discovery Call
A call of about 30 minutes after we pick your chapter, and the questions we will ask on it.
The Discovery Call is the first Events stage. It happens after we pick your chapter for the pilot, not before.
How long is it, and who should join?
About 30 minutes. Please bring the person who manages your chapter's Eventbrite account. If that is you, just you is fine.
What will you ask us?
- How your chapter uses Eventbrite today, and roughly how many events you post in a year.
- Who manages your Eventbrite account, and whether they can change its settings.
- Which of your events you would like EO members around the world to see.
- Which of the two ways of sharing access suits you. The page What we need from you explains both.
- A good time for the Testing stage, when we check that a few of your real events come through correctly.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Nothing technical is needed before the call. If you like, find out who in your chapter can sign in to Eventbrite as an administrator, meaning someone who can change the account's settings.
What happens after the call?
You share access in the way you chose, then tell us in your chapter portal. That moves your chapter to the next Events stage, API Information Submitted.
